Day 5... We are getting closer to the big show!

Breakfast. Morning walk. Practice. Free time. That sums up today’s activities so far. We have dinner in a couple of minutes and then the athletes have a group activity but that is it for today.

As I do not have much to report back today I figured I’d provide updates and information surrounding the event.

Team Canada profiles have been loaded onto our site. Be sure to check it out. Click on each team member’s name to view their individual profiles. You can also download the full media guide which includes all athlete and coaching staff profiles in addition to stats from previous events.

Team Canada take on Finland in an exhibition game tomorrow! This will be the first time these two teams meet up since the gold medal final in the 2007 World Championship. The game starts at 2pm local time here. Be sure to do the math so you can follow the game on Twitter. I will be providing updates during the game.

A live webcast of the gold medal series will be available. November 4th @18h30, November 5th @ 18h30 and November 6th (if needed) @ 14h30 be sure to tune in! Given the time difference between Finland and Canada this might mean that these games are live at the early hours of the morning for some of you. Not to worry, games will be made available to watch after the event as well. We are also working on producing DVD copies of these games. Be sure to check back in to our website for details.

Ringette Week is just around the corner. Don’t forget to wear your Jersey on November 2nd, send a message to Team Canada or a picture of you wearing your jersey. Both of these will give you a chance to win an autographed Team Canada Jersey! Check out the details!

Thats all for now!
Be sure to tune in tomorrow!
